Accompanied by four beautiful sunny days was held in Naples, Piazza del Plebiscito, the final stage of the Campus 3S 2014 which saw a record attendance from the people who crowded the village totally dedicated to the prevention and enriched numerous sporting activities for young and old.

The visits took place from the afternoon of Thursday, October 9 in the afternoon of Saturday, October 11 and were carried out by our Association and partners of private medicine.

Totally medical services have been around 7000. The clinics of the Campus Health set up in Piazza del Plebiscito for the occasion were devoted to: Thyroid, Diabetes-Metabolism-Osteoporosis, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Dermatology, Gynecology and Breast. All surgeries during the various sessions recorded maximum turnout.

The volunteer doctors Campus took turns in the clinics during the three-day visits are over 100 volunteers involved and overall for the entire management were 200 including also those who do not belong directly to the health care community.

Among the stands and clinics of private medicine, great participation and interest have had, those of Neuromed (prevention of stroke and brain diseases), Medicine Futura (echocardiography and abdominal ultrasound), NephroCare (evaluation of renal function), Laboratory Smoking (laboratory tests), Center Basile, Me.Di and Clinica Santa Maria del Pozzo (support for disabled children), Ruesch (eye examination), Clinica Mediterranea (consultation for diseases in pregnancy). Packed during the 3 days of visits also the stand of Rotary with the Project “No Stroke”.

Sunday 12 there was the grand finale with the Prevention Race, a marathon dedicated to the prevention, and the spectacle offered by the many guests from the world of sport and entertainment. In particular thanks to the friends of “A Place in the Sun”, to Patrick and Marco Rispo Zurzolo for the beautiful flash mob dedicated to prevention that has dragged the whole square to dance to the tune of a music and a fantastic pace.
